Conveniently located within walking distance to the Swarthmore SEPTA regional rail station, the Swarthmore-Rutledge Elementary School, Swarthmore College, and the Swarthmore town center.

12 Month September- August
Full Day – 7:15am-6:00pm
Classrooms:
Young Toddler (Ducklings)
– age 12 months-24 months/10 children/3 FT teachers
Preschool (Squirrels, Kangaroos, Owls)
– age 2 years-4 years/12 children/2 FT teachers
Pre-Kindergarten (Crickets)
– age 4-5 18 children, 2 FT teachers, 2 PT teacher
Support staff provide classroom support at the beginning and end of the day, and enrichment activities in music and movement, and foreign language.
Nutrition:
Young Toddler families provide lunch from home
Preschool lunch is provided by an on-site cook
Breakfast and PM snacks provided for all children
Daily nutrition follows USDA guidelines of high quality nutrition, including many whole grains and fresh fruits and vegetables
Accreditation:
The preschool site has attained the highest level, STAR 4, in the PA Keystone STARS tiered system of quality improvement.
